About the Neighborhood

From the oldest public park to the most photographed neighborhood in Boston, this tour is a great refresher for locals as well as guests. Each tour is a fun 2 hours with plenty of treats and 1.5 miles of walking. There is one small hill. We can’t wait to take you on a unique Boston Beantown chocolate tour adventure!

Cancelation Policy

If you have to cancel, at least 48 hours notice before the tour start time is required in order to receive a refund back to the original payment method. Guests requesting a refund less than 48 hours prior to the tour start time cannot be refunded or rescheduled due to advanced preparation and scheduling commitments for each tour. Guests who arrive late or don’t show will also not be refunded or rescheduled. Should we have to cancel a tour, you’ll be refunded in full.

A former art teacher with a background in design, Chloe is also an inventor and is working on a startup company to launch one of her products. She loves food, travel, photography, design, outdoor activities and is a former competitive runner.

Roberta is an Associate Professor of Hospitality Management at MassBay Community College. Prior to teaching at MassBay she taught at Newbury College in Brookline where many of her students were culinary arts majors. She loves visiting the restaurants of her graduates. Roberta and her business partner have a small mystery shopping business. They specialize in evaluating hospitality operations.

Favorite Food– Boston Crème Pie because it originated in Massachusetts, and it is delicious.

Favorite Stop on the Tour– They are all her favorites because they all contain some form of chocolate!

Favorite Time in History– The 1960’s which were filled with music, politics, peace and love.

Super-hero Power She Would Most Want– She would love to be able to eradicate homelessness.

Other fun facts– She ran the Boston Marathon 15 times and completed an 8-mile open water swim in the Boston Harbor without a wetsuit.

Kerstin was born in Germany and grew up in Canada. She has lived around the world including Japan, Germany, Canada and the U.S. She is a self taught chocolatier and ran a chocolate shop in her hometown of Edmonton, Canada for 8 years. She recently moved from Brattleboro, Vermont to Medford, MA.

What Likes About Boston:
The diverse food scene, independent movie theaters, and being close to the beach.

Favorite Food:
Chocolate! But more specifically, the 75% Venezuela bar from Bonnat Chocolatier.

Fave stop on the tour:
Beacon Hill Chocolates because of all the great selection.

The Renaissance because it came after the dark ages and brought with it great art and literature.
